Pfizer To Combine With Mylan For Off-Patent Products

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is set to purchase Mylan in an all stock deal to combine it with its own off-patent brands and generics.

US based Mylan, is best known for its Epi-Pen, following this Pfizer shareholders will own 57% of Mylan, with 43% being owned by Mylan shareholders.

The Pfizer business, called Upjohn, makes Lipitor, Celebrex and Viagra

Following this, the company will be headquartered in Delaware in the US.
